We started dating in 2014 and got married two years later on the beautiful Santiam River. Fortunately for me, Katharine already had a background in photography, and once we began shooting weddings together, it just clicked.
We both love the unique journey that brings each couple to their wedding day. One thing many people don’t realize is that you spend a large part of your wedding day with your photographers — which can be surprising! That’s why we believe in building a connection before the big day.
We’ve found that spending a little time together beforehand helps everything run more smoothly and comfortably. Rather than using up time on your wedding day to get to know each other, we see the engagement session as the perfect opportunity to connect — so that when your wedding arrives, we’re already in sync and can focus fully on capturing the moments that matter.
